If you’ve read my recent posts, you know that when it comes to the holiday season, I am all about keeping it minimal and simple. I also do realize, however, that there are still gifts to be given whether it is for someone you just want to give a gift to or if it’s for a party you are attending.
When I am shopping for gifts, I like to make sure that I am giving someone a gift that I personally would love to receive, a gift that will definitely be used, a gift that will make the person’s life easier and more organized, etc. And, I ALWAYS make sure to leave a gift receipt with the gift so they can exchange it if they have no use for it. Because at the end of the day, I don’t want to add to someone’s clutter!
In this post, I wanted to share some amazing gift ideas for Christmas 2022 and the great thing is they are all from Amazon so they are convenient to purchase and will arrive at your doorstep without you having to drag yourself around all the stores during this busy time.
My list is specific to household items. These are all items that have helped me or my clients to organize their home or make it function better for them. Some of the smaller items you can add to the bigger items as a side to make the gift just feel a little bit more special.
Also, I know some of these items may not seem like the most special and thoughtful gifts but I truly believe in getting gifts that are going to improve someone’s life. I truly believe that your home is your sanctuary so practical home items are my favorite gifts to give. I like to think of it this way – would you rather get a perfume that you don’t even like the scent of or something small for your home that makes it more organized? I choose the latter for sure.
Fruit and Vegetable Stand – $21.99
My clients ask me ALL THE TIME how I organize my fruits and vegetables and I always recommend this fruit and vegetable stand here. It’s a great size, it has hooks on the sides for bananas and sits so nicely on your counter without making it look cluttered. I also love the touch of wood on the handles. This is such a great product.
Paper Towel Holder – $9.99
This is a small gift but you could easily add it to another product I recommended to make it more substantial. I am all for keeping my counters as clutter-free as possible so having this paper towel holder in my kitchen is a must! The sleek black finish is gorgeous but you can get it in whatever finish you think your gift receiver would like.
Spoon Organizer – $24.46
This spoon organizer is simply gorgeous! The best thing about it is it’s expandable so it can work for a lot of different sized drawers. I love how this spoon organizer has slots for knives so you don’t have to keep those bulky knife sets on your counter. As you can see, I like to keep things off my kitchen counter as much as possible!
Containers With Lids – $19.99
These cream bins are stunning and so simple. I keep my containers in my laundry room and use it to store extra paper towel rolls and toilet paper. They come with lids which is great as well! I just love that they are opaque so it makes everything look so tidy.
Car Hooks – $11.99
These hooks for the car are truly one of my most favorite Amazon finds EVER! They are so useful, especially if you have kids. My kiddos use them to hang up their backpacks on their way to school and it’s just so nice for them to have a designated spot to put them (as opposed to throwing them on the floor!).
Big Glass Jars – $17.00
These large glass jars are perfect for any pantry. Everyone has a few items in their pantry that just needs a bigger bottle. I use mine for rice, flour and other lentils I like to keep on hand. I’ve tried many of the glass jars with wood lids and these are my favorite. The glass is really thick and good quality and if you take good care of them they can last you a long time.
Under Cabinet Storage – $25.99
We recently moved into a smaller home and our space to keep snacks is fairly small. I purchased these racks to give me another level of storage to add things such as applesauce pouches, small snacks, granola bars, etc. and it has given me so much more space to work with. You can use these in your closet or really anywhere with a shelf if you need that extra space.
Fabric Organizing Boxes – $12.96
These fabric boxes are great for keeping anything! I personally use these boxes in my television stand and keep cable cords, batteries, chargers, etc. but again you can use these anywhere in your home.
Label Maker – $39.99
I don’t think I need to say much about this. A label maker is a must in every household – in my opinion, anyway!
OXO Containers – $32.90
Last, but certainly not least, are these containers. These are a must in every kitchen or pantry. I’ve tried other containers in my pantry for dry snacks and such but these are one of my favorites – hands down! I like to buy a set every now and then and just add to my collection as they can get pricy but each time I get a new set and decant products into them, I feel like a new person!
